... Smashboards.
I'm Noro, a 19-year-old Smasher from Germany. I've been playing Smash since Melee was released for the Game Cube, although I never got into competetive Smash until the release of Smash 4 (both as a spectator AND player).
I play Smash 4 only, but really enjoy watching both Smash 4 and Melee.
As for my smashing 'career' *cough*, it began when I first joined a forum called SmashLabs, the main forum for german-speaking Smash 4 players, early this year. I started going to local tournaments and met many cool people, keeping me motivated to improve and continue playing this game.
Now I want to broaden my horizons and start reaching out to the international community. Which is why I decided to join Smashboards. In the past I came here just as a guest to look up informations and discussions (because honestly, while the aforementioned german forum helped me get into my local scene, it's character boards suck), but now I want to participate!
Additionally, since it's a foreign language to me, I want to improve my English by writing and reading more. And what better topic to write and read about than Smash?
That's it for now, on to some smashboarding i guess
