Grants for College

A number of scary problems are compounding, family and health related, that have only been revealed to me recently. It seems I have dug myself into a deep hole, and recently an unforseen weight has been tied to further prevent clawing out of it. I think though that easing the burden of tuition will help relieve the pressure that weighs heavily on my home. (...I've really been screwing up the past few years :[ )

I know smashboards has some nice/intelligent people, as Ive lurkered for years, since the time of Gideon. So I can already see the helpful posts rolling in.
So, could anyone provide advice for me/ others who might be searching for grants?

I know Fastweb has a whole database of scholarships/grants/etc that can help.

You should also try researching stuff from your hometown/current residence to see if they have anything available.
