I think that primarily, you need to work on knowing when to engage your opponent directly and when to hold off. Your spacing is inconsistent, but when it's good, it's great. I think you've got most of the basics down.

2nd kill on rob was great, nice super missiles. 1st kill on mario was awesome, and I loved the 2nd (how often does samus kill with usmash?). Also loved the dair - sh dair you pulled somewhere in the mario match.

Anyway my comment is use upB OoS. It's a great habit that will get you out of a lot of tight spots and makes pressure characters think twice about their spacing and jumping all over you.

thanks! ive improved with the spacing a lot over time and play a bit slower now, but the combos still come out the same. i take it as being smarter since samus isnt the best in-your-face character

The first match, go with what ph00tbag said. I loved the fight overall. Both second and third KO were great. Your Samus needs more air dodge and zair. Especially on that Mario. His attempts to gimp you pretty much failed, which is good. Samus shouldn't have a problem coming back when it comes to Mario. Anyway, when fighting opponents with reflective abilities, you should use zair more than your projectile unless it's on Pit.

Very nice first match. That power missile to charge shot was too good. Last kill was very nice. Needs way more Zair though.
