what is the best movement of marth - this is a question that has been puzzling me for sometime

ken movement style is a series of foxtrot mixed while well timed dashes in a pivoted manner. and this is a really fast way to move in and out of (weaving) trouble
These are vids of ken doing the set style

the kendash isnt hard to do , all it takes are 2 basic things.

1) be sure not to move left and right too fast but move in a rhythme

2) fast reactions

there ya go : P

and M2k style of movement is dash dancing and neutralizing the lag with wavedashing this allows him to control space not fast but efficiently safe .. they are not any vids of m2k but in MLG long island vids and FCD vids he does this alot

so in your opinion what would be better .. thankyou its because i have a tournament on saturday and your thoughts would really help me up my game X D ..and show me what i need to focus on

AND ALSO could you post you movement style stating how effective it is

Trying to copy someone's dash method is a little much. Find out what works for what you like to do. I just try to mix mine up. All I try to do is keep my dashdancing varied so they won't develop a rhythm for what I am doing. Develop a method that keeps you spaced and keeps them guessing and your good to go.

thankyou very much .. i had no idea i guess i was kind of going over the top with mimicking their movement . Because i thought since they are the best marths i would think that they have the best marth movement ^^

Pssh. Cactus dashing is far superior in it's pretty-ness.

Mew2king just dash dances near you until you do something. Then he ***** you.

You can't describe the beauty of cactus dancing. It's just... well... cactus dancing!

Watch a match and behold the beauty.

I use a combination of moonwalking, momentum inversion, and pivot wavedashes.

Edit: But yeah, you need to watch my matches to truly enjoy it. I recommend my Evo East set vs Cort.
