Also, as for the Z option, shouldn't you be jump canceling grabs always to reduce lag?Umm... You should use both? they are both Situational...
Not always. Peach chain throws fast fallers easier with dash grabs and Sheik teach chases easier with boost grabs. Some dash grabs grab as fast as standing grabs, but standing grabs tend to end 10 frames sooner. Jump canceling might delay the actual grab by a frame or 2 sometimesAlso, as for the Z option, shouldn't you be jump canceling grabs always to reduce lag?
If you are grabbing from neutral or shield, jumping just wastes a minimum of 1 frame. Also if you want to turn grab in place, for example when chaingrabbing fox with marth at low percents or doing a wd back turn grab, jc grabbing is bad. This is because jumping actually cancels a tilt turn so you could grab the wrong direction. This can be circumvented using smash turn, but it's harder and the jump still wastes a frame at least.Also, as for the Z option, shouldn't you be jump canceling grabs always to reduce lag?
