How about if you could grab your enemies. Then you could throw them in any direction. I don't know what button you would use.

What do you guys think?

Wow... I really don't know what to say to this.

Ah I think I have it.

Is this your first time playing smash or are you a noob? If so please read the instruction booklet that came with your copy of Melee, and then check back with us. Thank you.

I think being able to hit enemies would be even cooler!

You should also have some way to avoid enemy attacks. Perhaps some kind of rolling or dodging? I have no idea how this could be implemented though.

Woaw, what next. Air dodging causes you to slide, and when done properly timed on ground it's called wavedashing! NAH!

-What next:
-Mario makes his first smash appearance. (that's a good one)
-Link makes it into the game
-Meta Knight is bottom tier (It will happen, jk)
-Ike ISN'T A POKéMON!
-Lucas gets in Brawl?
-A Capcom random post
-Sonic gets in Brawl?
-A MOTHER 3 stage?
-Pichu DOESN'T RETURN?
-Brawl gets online!

[sarcasm ftw folks!]

I would really love a way to play the game. Maybe controllers are a good idea.

Come on was anyone expecting the footstool jump? And I have many fighting games where you could grab your opponents. So I was just thinking why not in Brawl? And no I don't have any other smash game so whats it say on the instruction booklet?
*sigh*

Maybe me meant enemies, as in the Subspace Enemies. Not players.
That's what I thought too. Evidently you're the only person here who isn't oversarcastic.

Anyway. I'd say yes. You could throw enemies in Melee's singleplayer.
