Grab release to Usmash?

I've seen a few vids of a DDD chaingrabbing a Wario, just pummeling him until he broke free and then connecting with a (seemingly) guaranteed usmash. I was just wondering if this only works on Wario or other characters too.

Theres already a thread about this. Yes its escapable, but only if they smash di down, but even then they can be punished easily enough. To answer the second part of the question, its only wario because he escapes the grab in a unique way. next time you should browse around to make sure your not posting something thats the same thing as a 2 or 3 page long topic just a few posts down. lol no offense
