grab release punishment

does mario have the same flaw that wario does? by that i mean can he receive a free hit if someone grabs him and then waits for him to release himself.

Mario can be hit by some attacks, but it's nothing important really.

Just by people like Sonic, Bowser, and Wolf.

Pretty worthless, when you factor DI, and meteor canceling (at low percents).

The only one you really have to worry about is Bowser. Everyone else? Forget it.

It does give him another a kill move on the last stock if he grabs you at the ledge, though.

Plus, if he pulls it off offstage on the last stock of a close match in a tournament, he'll automatically win the set regardless of who won the other matches.
