Moveset time:
B: Parasol: Gooey extends a parasol forward, and it flips over and sends out magical blue sparks. Anyone hit by the parasol takes 10-15% damage, and the blue sparks do 5-10% damage.
vB: Spark: Gooey charges his spark power, which you can hold. Anytime an enemy touches him while in this state, they get hurt for about 3-5% damage, and can get stuck in a series of attacks. Any attack that can hit him without you touching him will knock him out of it.
^B: Star: Gooey turns into the star that he becomes when he gets off screen, and flies upwards for several seconds during which you can control his movement. He then freefalls. If he hits an enemy with this, it does 15-20% damage.
<>B: Tongue: Gooey eats an enemy by extending his tongue, which has more range than Kirby's suck. He then copies the enemies <>B.
FS: Dark Matter Gooey: Gooey temporarily becomes his dark matter form. He can free fly, and shoot out his tongue, which down does crazy damage. He remains in this form for 10 seconds.

Perhaps he could get in. I remember playing as him with a friend in Kirby 3 for SNES.

King Dedede is most likely for the 3rd Kirby slot. I don't know what other Kirby characters could be up for grabs for a 4th.

Yeah, DeDeDe is more likely as a third character, but if this game is bigger than we all ever imagined, then Gooey has a shot at the fourth spot.

Hmmm, yeah when I was reading another thread listing possible kirby characters I thought about gooey, too. I remember my sister always played Kirby In KDL3, and i got stuck running behind gooey (never got an "animal friend" in that game either, she'd always take em).

Anyway, I had a lot of good times involving Gooey, and I don't really see any major reason why he couldn't be in brawl, but there are probably some better candidates they'd go with first. Like the previously mentioned King DeDeDe. But hey, maybe our Gooey based dreams might come true, and we can't really rule him out till December 3rd.
