Well, as you all know, Ganon's utilt is a turd. We've just accepted it by now. But through some inspiring videos, I've tried to get some use out of this shunned move.
A great use of the utilt is for edgegaurding. Just get the perfect spacing, utilize the move, and watch it work like a charm. If they just do a getup attack, Ganon's hitbox on the move (which is the entirity of the vacuum effect) will reach them, but they can rarely reach you, if spaced correctly. If they roll onto the stage, it's a certain hit. *Another interesting note: If they're hanging on the edge, but have no invincibility frames left, they will be spiked from the utilt.
This can be escaped by simply jumping, but people tend to use those 2 get-up options more than others. Overall a great edge guarding option. Some people may have already known this, but since I haven't seen it utilized in any videos, I thought I'd share about it on the forum.
Comments or questions?
P.S. Don't abuse the technique, as it will become predictable, and you will be vulnerable for it.
