Good secondary for diddy kong?

I find that this Smash game is all about the match ups, I don't think any character doesn't have a counter. Diddys is projectile users, (toon link) He also has some trouble with Fox and Rosalina. Who's a good character to secondary along with diddy to provide good coverage? Biggest issue for me is Toon Link keep that in mind while answering.
