Oh boy, the Smash community is swell, isn't it? Or gaming communities on the Internet in general, I should say. We loved Brawl's roster up until these last days, our hearts jumping as each new character revealed; Snakes' in Brawl? Kickass! They put Sonic in?? Holy jesus! Meta Knight, Pit, Pokemon Trainer (3 characters in one?!)??? 17 new characters you say, and the majority of Melee's roster returning???? Not only that, but every existing character and every new challenger is painstakingly fine-tuned for optimal balancing? What more could we want?? Thank you Nintendo, thank you Sakurai we all proclaimed!
Oh but wait. 4 of the new characters are clones, 2 being of Fox. Well, **** this roster then! It sucks, **** it! We don't put up with that ****!! We ignore all the good in something if there's something we don't like, didn't Sakurai realize this before he completely ruined the roster??
It's definitely the worst thing about Brawl, as I've heard everyone shout for the past 2 days! I completely agree, who would think otherwise? It's horrible!
I mean, it has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that you've all ruined the secret characters for yourselves, so when the game was released in Japan and there were only 2 characters left, only the characters God Himself and Boobs Mctitson would have satisfied you guys. But nope, they were clones, making the complete roster a failure as a result.
