Good, free, non-RTS and FPS LAN game?

My friends and I are trying to decide what would make a good game we'd all enjoy...My friend doesn't like FPS and I don't like most RTS games (I like Starcraft). So since RTS and FPS are basically the most played LAN games ever...what's that leave?
And I'd like to not spend money if it's like 15 or something dollars I might consider, but nothing like 40+

Played both MS and GB, don't think my friends are as into it as I was

Try AlienSwarm. It's a mod on Unreal Tournament 2004. If you can torrent UT2004 it can be free =P.

Edit: Well it's actually a full conversion, so it isn't a fps.
