Crerated in a post-finals spasm of boredom. I wanted to do something different.

Roserade (♂) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Rain Dance
- Sleep Powder
- Leaf Storm
- Weather Ball

My starter... outspeeds as much as it can, sleeps, and rain dances on the switch. Outspeeds tyranitar, gyarados, hippowdon, breloom. Must run away from infernape, weavile, salamence. Weather ball actually has quite a bit of power in the rain, as its power doubles and it gets x1.5 from the rain. Leaf storm is if they're foolish enough to send out something weak to grass.
---
Weezing (♂) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/240 Def/18 SAtk
Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Thunder
- Pain Split
- Haze
- Rain Dance

A second rain bringer. Takes care of aerodactyl, gyarados, heracross (usually I would use flamethrower, but its not worth it in the rain). Haze for enemy stat ups.
---
Ludicolo (♂) @ Damp Rock
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs: 6 HP/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Grass Knot
- Ice Beam
- Rain Dance
- Surf

My main special sweeper. I hear a lot of people wondering why I don't use kingdra, with its better speed and special attack. Well, stabbed/rain danced surf is already powerful enough to take down almost everything that doesn't resist it (except for Blissey). With only Grass, Water and Dragon resisting water, Ice beam and Grass Knot means I have a good shot at killing anything my opponent sends out to take the surfs. He also has a convenient double resistance to water should my opponent try taking advantage of my rain. Lately, though, I've had problems with people exploding on my Ludicolo...
---
Bronzong @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP/58 Atk/200 SDef
Sassy nature (+SDef, -Spd)
- Earthquake
- Gyro Ball
- Toxic
- Light Screen

Okay, the reason I started a rain dance team is because I wondered how hard Bronzong would be to kill in the rain. The answer is that bronzong is more or less unstoppable in the rain, so I'm pretty satisfied there. Watching Azelf flamethrowers do ~12 percent to a light screened bronzong in the rain is a good feeling.
---
Floatzel @ life orb
Ability: Swift Swim
EVs:6 hp/ 252 atk/ 252 spd
Adamant Nature (+ atk, - sp. atk)
- Aqua Jet
- Waterfall
- Brick Break
- Ice Fang

This is a replacement for Lucaro. Takes advantage of the rain, and counters mixape. Also helps stop blissey from walling the hell out of this team.
---
Weavile (♂) @ Focus Sash
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Night Slash
- Ice Punch
- Brick Break

Regular SD weavile, draws out my opponents physical walls.

Well, making this team was fun. Thats whats important, anyways.

doesn't stall enough

i'm being serious too

on shoddy, pretty much every zong you will face now is CMzong (thanks to me of course) cause it stalls like crazy

weezing is horrible at stalling, it's there to counter all the brelooms, heracrosses, but yours is completely walled by any ground type

zong should have rain dance over roserade

it also serves as a much better lead for this kind of team

not exactly liking the lucario, his agility set isn't exactly teh greatest

weavile is fine (standard but fine)

ludicolo needs to be a lot more stallish for this team to have decency

the way you have this team

you have 1 wall, 1 tank, and 4 attackers

also, you are massively weak to mixnape, weezing and ludicolo will not handle him well

you are also very weak to metagross, EVEN WORSE THAN MIXNAPE, the only poke you have that can stop it is your zong

also weavile weak too, weavile will own most of your team much like mixnape would

this team is massive fail

sorry kid, better luck next time

I like this Ludicolo set on a Rain team:

Ludicolo @ Leftovers
Modest/Rain Dish
252 Spd/192 Spd/66 HP
~Toxic
~Surf
~Protect
~Energy Ball/Ice Beam
Strategy: Poison your opponent, Protect gives you free turn of Toxic, free Lefties recovery, and free Rain Dish recovery. While every other turn hitting them w/Surf/Energy Ball/Ice Beam.
Grass Knot can replace Energy Ball if you don't like E-Ball.

I thought about using a Ludicolo like that for a Rain Dance team... You know, like a Stallreinesque thing.

You shouldn't have Toxic. Toxic Spikes should be down. I'd also go for some Magic Number for Leftovers recovery and add EVs to Defense.

Until wii meet again,

Tervwj, its a very good stalling set for Ludicolo, but a swift swim sweeper catches a lot of people off guard, as well as having very good type coverage with ice beam, surf, and grass knot.

@mood, I appreciate your advice, but not the somewhat condescending tone of your post. Let me try to explain what I'm thinking:
Mixape does spell trouble for this team IF rain isn't up. Under rain, ludicolo outspeeds and ohkos with surf, Bronzong walls it fairly well and kills with earthquake, and roserade is just bulky enough to take a flamethrower and ohko with weather ball.

Metagross is sort of a problem, the best I can do right now is to earthquake it with Bronzong.

In the rain, the typical 252/252/6 weavile is outsped and ohkod by Ludicolo.

Rain dance would work nicely on Bronzong over light screen, and it would give him something to do. Right now, Lucario and Weezing are the weakest players on this team. Weezing is excellent at countering Gyarados, but not much else. Lucario is good at countering Blissey, but not much else. I'm trying to find things to replace them... perhaps a Garchomp with surf, maybe?

Thanks for the help, people.
