The poll is on the homepage. Each year, GameFAQs runs character battles to determine the best character. Several joke characters make it into the bracket. Today's match features Sandbag in a 4-way match. The top 2 characters from the match advance to the next round. Though Sandbag has no chance to defeat Sonic, it could still come in second place and move on.
So far, L-Block (last year's contest champion) and Weighted Companion Cube earned first place while Mudkip and Hogger got second place in their matches. All 4 of those characters are intended as a joke.
At the moment, Magus is in the lead over Sandbag. Should Sandbag make a successful comeback, it will be in second place and advance to the next round.
I figure I'd rally up support here, since Sandbag is from the Smash Bros. games. The match started about 7 hours ago and will last for a total of 24 hours.
