Sonic will not hop up at first since you're on a slope. After you roll off the ice block you will keep rolling across to the other block rather than falling.
Just thought that was interesting and you might want to make a sonic hacks stage to annoy friends on.
It might be just the slope or just the ice i haven't messed with it yet. This formation was on today's custom stage, that's where i found it out so credit goes to some random wifi stage sender
