Hey Smashboards, I'm Lade, I'm a Smash player from Tampa Florida. I was the 2nd ranked Smash Bros Brawl player in Florida from 2010 to 2013 and also play Melee, Smash 64, Umvc3, and Smash 4. I went by RedHalberd in Brawl, Holidaze in Umvc3, and go by Fresh Die Nasty or/StillFRESHtbh in Smash 4 (Gamer tags really aren't important to me LOL). I was the best player in my city in every Smash game and 2nd in UMVC3 until StaticManny hugely stepped up his game when Smash 4 came out and I got a full time job (I consider myself 3rd in Tampa right after Phuzix). I still play Smash competitively and attend tournaments but don't grind the game like I used to.
Anyway I take a lot of credit for developing my local scene (Tampa was the worst region in FL Smash in 2008 and is now the 2nd best Smash 4 region with many up and coming Melee players), as well as personally training a lot of our players.
I've always had a knack for breaking things down into pretty simple explanations and I've been wanting to help new players get into Smash for a long time. A lot of the players in my local FB group requested a video about tournament mentality, and what separates good/high level/consistent players from those who have problems.
Anyway I'm really looking to do more videos on how to improve ones game, ranging from specifics involving mechanics to general things outside the game such as confidence and learning.
If you like my first video please subscribe or message me if you'd like to request I make a video about anything specific!
Thanks, cheers everyone!
