gimpyfish and the self proclaimed pros from SWF, I take it like a grain of salt. They are simply not the best, but apparently Gimpy has stated hes the best in the world along side with Eggz that it appears everyone is either believing it or beginning to believe it, I guess thats based off of every youtube video which dont tell the whole story if its gimpy uploading them in the first place, which is probably why all of his opponents is bad players in general anyway.
I dont consider to be a Pro, but at the same time I dont think anyone can make a claim or declare that anyone is a pro in Melee, but Whats funny is, I dont think Gimpy, eggz, pc, azen, (I never seen anyone outside gimpy really come around) is even going to compete in any Wifi tournament system, Gimpy has gone as far as to taunt, call names, act like a **** 5 year old child back at MLG. He wants to challenge me (Captain Falcon user) but the catch is, he wants to have a $50 bet and for me to FLY 2,000 MILES FROM WHERE I AM TO CALIFORNIA............stupid, but he wont fight me or anyone in brawl when it comes out through Wifi.
Conclusion, the "pros" we call it from SWF is nothing more then people with alot of money to throw around and have simply bought the title of being pro, thats all it is. Sadly they got people to believe such trash and since they made SWF their home they have gotten everyone there to believe SWF is the NFL of Smash Bros when they cant even organize a tournament that will actually host good players in it, they cant even close the gap on the tournament location and this is why they wont ever be official tournament organizers of any kind. Least with Wifi it closes the gap and everyone will compete, meaning its probably going to show that the "pros from SWF" are not the best and never were, but seeing as they wont compete in Wifi, it further complicates things.
But lets look at the evidence, Gimpy is the only posting videos, why are the opponents so bad? Biggest question I have is, why is their no good players taking advantage of a slow bowser with using Fox, Falco, Captain Falcon, or even Pikachu in order to beat Gimpy and his Bowser? its like its none existant or perhaps he only uploads matches he wins, look at his videos good enough you begin to realize theirs plenty people who are better, eggz is in that same boat to, afterall, gimpy does go to say him and eggz is the best in the world, both probably live together which I aint mistaken are doing just that right now in California, but lets get serious, I dont consider him nor gimpy as being the absolute best, and I havent even had time to look at ken, azen and the rest of the "pros" as they call them yet, so I am neutral on that.
As far as I know, none of them wants any part of Wifi battles, ladders, or a tournament system, I wonder why?
That answer is because better players will be found, SWF, Gimpy, and eggz like the title of pro so much they wont jeopardize it. They will simply not play in anything Wifi and will stick to their backyard style of tournaments.
Funny, when I challenge Gimpy for Wifi, he results to name calling, insulting, having other people speak for him, the idiot is a moron with no set of balls, his counter challenge was to have me fly 2500 miles to california to accept a $50 bet.
It comes to my attention you people at SWF is just full of excuses and your way of thinking is, if competitors dont have infinite dollars, dont compete in SWF or want anything to do with SWF, they are bad at the game and you proclaim your pros based off a **** tournament you cant even close the gap on when it comes to location.
