Gex in Brawl?

Should Gex be in he seems like a good character
if you don't know Gex he was from N64

OMG i had totally forgotten about Gex 64! It was a pretty good game but I don't think he has the fanbase or the same heritage with Nintendo as some of the other characters. And im pretty sure all the characters are set for the new game.

Most of his charm was in his clever quips. Sadly, I think he may just be too old for this generation. This didn't stop G&W, ICs, or pit, but then again they never poked fun at popular culture.
That's all nitpicking, though. They could simply update his comedy, and develop his character around being a gecko. But since leon is a cameleon, and 1st party so they don't have to worry about any legality, his chances seem as low as any other 3rd party nintendo console character. Oh well...

Pit is a nintendo characture though, I'm sure nintendo not going to have any obscure 3rd party chars, all of them will be fairly well known, I would be suprised if any third party chars get in besides...

As for Gex, I always loved his games, but he can't make it. It truly is sad

Gex would be a great 3rd party smash character.. would be very unexpected.
Problem would be his taunts.. Dana Gould did his voice.. so having him make some new wise cracks from the gex games might be difficult to do. That is unless they recycle some old ones from previous games.
Mid battle he could yell out something completely random.. or comment about the stage or a char. he is fighting against.

His tongue is much like Yoshis.. but he never used it to swallow like Yoshi.
I wrote up an entire move list for him.. but lost it.

I doubt most gamers want to be reminded that Gex exists.

Cool, GEX FOR BRAWL! I never really thought of Gex.... but now I really want him! Probably in my top 3 of characters wanted. (K.rool and diddy will always come 1st and 2nd).
