Getting setups for a tournament

I've been thinking about holding a local tournament in my area, and I think I have an idea about the venue, but I have no idea of how to go about getting setups. Maybe someone here who has hosted a tournament before can give me some advice?
Should I rely on people to bring consoles, or should I procure them myself?

You should bring some of your own as backups but ask others to bring consoles. I've seen a few tournaments that offer small discounts on the entry fee if you bring set ups, perhaps you can do something like that. Though, it really depends on how big the tournament is going to be and how many consoles you'll need.

Well if it's less than 32 or so people then 1 or 2 setups is fine and you can easily set it up yourself but anything bigger and I would ask at least one person to help. One good idea is to make it so that if someone brings a set up then they get a discount or something on venue or entry fee so there's an incentive to help out.
