What do you think we will get for DLC? Discuss all forms of DLC which may come our way.

I'm expecting packs like Mario Kart 8.

I'd say smash run stages, stages, music, maybe some other small features, or maybe none.

I'd expect DLC as early as next February (or perhaps around the time of the U release if things had to be tweaked), but balance patches maybe before the American release.

I hope for mostly stages and songs, as adding characters makes balance a nightmare.

I don't think big packages would be best, rather just packs of 1 Character+ 1 or 2 stages +new songs for that stage.

I'd want stages, and songs, not characters though, for balance reasons. I guess I wouldn't mine veterans.

As much as I'd like a stage builder, on the 3DS it seems highly unlikely. As for Characters, ehhh..maybe. But I could definitely see DLC stages.

I think if there were DLC it'd most likely be stages and costumes. Maybe characters.

Maybe every pack could have one of the following:
1 veteran
2 newcomers
1 returning stage for the Wii U
1 returning stage for the 3ds
1 new stage for the Wii U
1 new stage for the 3ds
+ a few alts
+ a few customization options for the miis
1 new smash run map + a few enemies

They can, but this is also something that non-DLC characters can do. Balance testing will need to be thorough, but there's a lot of merit in character DLC, both in terms of player satisfaction and from Nintendo's business perspective.

I think we will get DLC - Mario Kart 8's DLC has given me hope!

Probably some new / returning stages, as well as some characters (Mewtwo, Wolf and some new one like the Chorus Kids). Some sort of new mode possibly, and maybe some new tunes. More Mii Fighter customisation is likely, also.

As long as they aren't an OP character, isn't that a good thing? Trying to shake up the stagnant tiers?
