Getting into Smash

So I've recently fallen back in love with my favorite childhood game, and I'd like to get better, and possibly move to online play, but I'm having troubles finding the right version of smash, I currently have 1.00 and am about to test 1.02, but sadly when I go into the Gecko Codes I see no community cheat code to turn on, and certain tricks I am trying just aren't working in game, I was just wondering where I can get the most current working netplay Smash Melee Rom, thank you and I apologize in advanced if I'm missing something in plain sight :/

Okay thanks, I think I found a good one, I did not know of the legality in this, thanks for the advice.

Also, while netplay is certainly fun and a decent way to practice, I would advise doing your best to find local players to try your hand against. It will improve your play quickly if you can get into your local scene (assuming you have one).
