Getting bullied in every stage (4 player Smash - Netcode)

It seems like no matter which character I use, the other players moves have advantage or something + it is very laggy in about half of all 4 player matches. Really annoying.

Any plans for improving the netcode?

Same problem here. My internet connection is fine in other games.

4 player matches are a nightmare in this game, due to how you need all 4 people to have good connections. Which is usually never. If you want the best results online, play 1v1.

Funnily enough I've had 4 player matches that ran very smooth like and were faster than 1 on 1 matches. You have to keep in mind it's not the netcode that's the issue it's that you are connecting to 3 others who may not have optimal for fighting game internet speeds. Your internet speed will only help so much against people with inferior by comparison connections.
