I'm not horrible at smash, but I'm not really good either. Due to that I want to get better at Smash. Would anyone be willing to add my NNID and help me improve? I've been trying to main Sheik, but Roy is my main at the moment. Also thanks to anyone willing to help!

I'm not that good, either, but I can help you practice.

Something you can do that Ive beeb doing is browse around the character discussion forums for your main. They should have matchup discussions against various other characters that you can use to get an idea of how to play against those characters. I imagine you'll also find character specific techs there too.

I've only been practicing seriously for the past week and Ive already seen some improvement thanks to my fellow Ness players in the Ness forums. Last night me and 3 or 4 other buddies played a king of the hill type game mode where we would 1v1 and the winner was the king and had to defend his position against the other guys who would take turns trying to topple the king. We played 6 rounds of it before i had to go to bed and I stayed king all 6 rounds. And they even pulled out some characters that usually givee me trouble like Toon Link.

So jusy doing what Ive been doing should get you some inprovement. At least 30 minutes of practice a day. Do For Glory or practice your short hops, combos, techs, or anything like that to improvethose aspects of your play. Then on top of that, as i mentioned before, go to your mains character forums ans read read read. In game skill is half of the game, having the knowledge on ypur own character as well as what to do in different match ups will compliment your skill and net you more wins.
