Last night, I managed to get Sakurai drunk with my awesome top-secret alcohol (it's a top-secret formula for the alcohol company that I work for), and after that, well, you know what I was thinking... so, I'll tell you how our conversation went (I'm not going to use my name for company purposes, so I'll be 2007)

2007: so Sakurai, I heard Smash Bros. is coming out on December 3rd.
Sakurai: yeah, are you a fan of that game?
2007: I certainly am. But there's one thing that bothers me.
Sakurai: and that is...
2007: how many characters are in this game?
Sakurai: there are 47.
2007: 47? wow. that's quite a bit. say, i heard you played that game with Hideo Kojima a few months ago. May wasn't it?
Sakurai: yeah, he was Snake. I was Mario. I beat him really good.
2007: you don't suppose I could give that game a little spin do you?
Sakurai: well... just this once. it's in the back room.

so i go to the back room and see it. I was like: OMGOMGOMGOMG11111111111exclamationpoint THIS IS BRAWL!!!!

I played the subspace Emissary as Shigeru Miyamoto, and his final smash was awesome. I won't disclose it now, but stay tuned for the awesomeness yet to come.


HOW'S THAT FOR SOME TOTALLY AWESOME INFORMATION!?!?!1111111/1/1/1/1

NOTE: if anyone else has any "totally awesome" info like I did, please feel free to share. my friend said he played as Solid Snake and he loooved the RPG he has. that was 6 months ago to the day though. pity.

The above posters don't get it.

My uncle, who works for Nintendo, claims that Brawl has 53 characters. Now who are you going to believe? My uncle, WHO WORKS FOR NINTENDO, or some drunken "Sakurai" (if that's his real name)?

I already downloaded the stolen iso file of the game off of Kazaa and am using my custom made Wii emulator to play it on my PSP.

Never expected to have to fight Spiderman -and- Batman as Ninja, though.
