Generating interest in a tournament near Pittsburgh, PA.

Hello Smashboards, I am creating this thread to see if there is any interest from the Pittsburgh area to attend a tournament for PM and Melee in Weirton, WV sometime in January. We don't have any specifics planned out yet, we are just seeing if it would be fiscally justifiable to rent out a venue for a tourney. Thank you for your time, and happy smashing.

I'm not sure if I'd enter (I feel like I'd be a little rusty atm) but I would never mind there being more tournaments around Pittsburgh. I would love to watch, and I have 2 friends that are pretty much in the same stance as I am. Maybe eventually I would enter one though.

Edit: I primarily play Project M though, so I would be more interested in that.

Hey choodles, glad you took the time to reply! Pittsburgh is definitely not as big in the Smash scene as MD/VA, and as someone who is in both areas often, I want to try and get the smash scene connected and strong between the two.

It would be nice to have a stronger Smash community in the area. I might end up entering a tourney, if only to help build the community a bit.
