General Texture/Costume Alt Requests.

I've wanted for EVER to get back the exact same looking (Tan and all) Melee Daisy Peach Alt for Project M, and after making/editing similar ones constantly, I finally found this: The Exact Melee Texture for Her. Problem is, it's entirely different Layout wise to typical PM/Brawl Textures;

If someone could rig a Melee Texture file to or into a Brawl Texture file that I have Melee Daisy Peach Alt's Texture just not able to rig it myself (

EDIT: I have my own Melee Daisy Alt but no matter how many times I take it to Photoshop it just never looks authentic. This is all I need. I appreciate any efforts made and I really really have no other option than to ask here for Help.

I've taken my shot at applying the textures you've got to an existing Melee Peach model, but they don't match up. It'd appear that Melee Peach's Daisy recolor uses a different model, so the textures don't always align. I did what I could with the model I've got. Another weird thing when I was testing in Dolphin, for some reason, all of her articles remain out at all times (frying pan, parasol, etc...). Don't know how to fix that, but hey, it's a start right?

I have 2 big requests over-all;
1. on a Brawl Peach texture, if you could (I tried but I'm awful with Colors/adjustments in Photoshop) somehow get that Tanned Skin Tone that the Melee Daisy Alt has? It's so hard to replicate, that's 95% of my request in it's entirety right there.
2. Shadow Queen Peach needs the cape, sure sure, but what she really needs is the shortened hair style. if you can somehow replicate that, I'd die.

Anything you come up with is A-Ok with me, You've already done so much!~

I really love what you've done already, I'm just trying to find/figure out/make Peach's Alts 100% legit.
So far I have Well-Endowed Peach, Shadow Peach (SSE; reminded me of Persona "Shadow" selfs), and working on making the other colors (the exception of Fire-Flower Peach) being something more than just that color. Melee Daisy Alt Peach holds a significant place in my heart so I want that as close as I can in PM the most, and Shadow-Queen Peach I wish it was just easy enough to polygon swap the Bust from another Peach model over to her but i can't get it to happen; the creator of that picture for almost NO reason will allow me access to the model. I'm baffled.

Any help is always help appreciated. <3

So I think I've found a solution. I've tried creating a model with the things you're asking for by combining parts from the model @ QuickLava provided and PM's Shadow Queen Model, but I haven't had the opportunity to test it yet, because of finals. Sigh.

This is what I tried doing in order to get it to work:

Step 1: Take QuickLava's edit (Model A) and open it using BrawlBox. Export the model to somewhere easy to reach (Desktop) as shown in the video, along with the texture "Peach TexB."

Step 2: Open PM's Shadow Queen (Model B) in Brawl Box. Right-Click on the model and click "Import New Object."

Step 3: Select the mdl0 you exported earlier, and then select "polygon 1" which should contain the more accurate hairstyle and the torso region.

Step 4: Replace Model B's 'Peach TexB' texture with the one you exported earlier.

Step 5: Delete Model B's polygon 0 (which is her broach jewel) and polygon 1. This should, in theory, give you the model you want.

Step 6: Save it with your desired file name, and then reopen it to see if it shows up correctly. Also, make sure to save both a .pac and .pcs just to be safe.

Basically, just follow the video according to your own needs, I guess.

I don't know if it works with PM yet, but I did try it with Peach's animations in BrawlBox and it seems to work fine. If it does work though, then kudos to both @ QuickLava and @Theytah.

I wish Melee Daisy's Skin tone/tan was simple enough to just color over top the existing PeachTextA/PeachTextB but I'm just so bad with color and coloring in photoshop.

Yeah, it seems I can only open this model using BrawlBox v.0.65, using earlier or later versions to preview the model just ends up with BrawlBox crashing.

@ ChiePet Have you tried running it in PM anyways? I'd test it out myself, but I can't access PM at the moment.

Also, QuickLava, that note. Lol.

Tho if anyone is the hero here, it's Theytah. And PMDT, and QuickLava, and Sakurai.

Also, ChiePet, if you've got time, you should try synthesizing your own version too just for practice's sake. All you need is BrawlBox (preferably the latest version), PM's Shadow Queen skin, and QuickLava's model and texture edit. It just takes a little bit of time, and the knowledge could come in handy in the future.

I don't know why the model doesn't show up in BrawlBox, I was wondering the same thing, but i can assure you that it works just fine. Tested it myself.
