general matchup knowledge

i want to find out if im lacking crucial knowledge in certain matchups. please give your opinions + add to my knowledge.

listing how i play matchups simply. info from experience. looking for replies that tell me KEY FACTS that im missing. anything is much appreciated.

MK VS MK

- better spacing + mind games wins.
- get mk above you where he has limited options. juggle.
- get mk off stage, predict recovery, can sometimes ko otherwise build up more damage.

MK VS DIDDY KONG

- be good with all nana techniques. never fear nanas. control stage with nanas.
- once diddy has no nana's be aggro.
- if diddy has setup nana's be patient.
- use the RANGE you have that diddy doesn't without bananas.
- get diddy in the air and off stage.
- off stage position ABOVE diddy's double jump so you don't get side b footstooled.
- gimp diddy with well time ledge grab.

MK VS SNAKE

- juggle
- never put yourself in position to get grabbed. if so, mix up techs.
- at high % take extra care, never throw away stock to utilt.
- never fear grenades, weave around them or insta throw back.
- dtilt = solid pressure move on ground.
- grabs especially useful to put snake in air to start the juggle.

MK VS GAW

- getting % lead then defense. gaw has limited approach options.
- tilts to keep gaw out. dtilt can hit under turtle.
- up b > everything. pay attention to gaw's telegraphed movements. up b ONLY after they've commited to move though, or correct read. can get punished hard by gaw up b.
- DI is crucial to get out of gaw nair/bair. i generally sdi up and away then dair gaw back.
- never get grabbed. if grabbed mix up techs as you can get ko'd.
- careful of airdodging or rolling as it sets up kills for gaw. high % SPACING is critical.

MK VS MARIO

- SPACING = win with marios poor range.

MK VS FALCO

- never get grabbed at 0.
- play cautiously until 50% then can play aggro.
- nair > falco side b.
- nado = very effective.

MK VS WARIO

- SPACING. WALLS
- ALWAYS be aware of WAFT timer.

You're forgetting the important matchup.

MK VS GANON

1 - spam airdodge if you see him going for a spike. Don't even mess with it.
2 - chaingrab him with nado.
3 - most often he will have the lead. If he does, keep your cool and stick to plan #2.
4 - don't gimp him. He's ganon. Fight him like a man.
