Hello all. I'm a bit new here. I'm a longtime Marth/Ike main from the West Australian scene looking to gain the ability to multishine and better tech skill soon (Expensive GC controller is in the mail now - can't wait!)
A friend introduced me to the Smash scene through Smash 4 around the end of 2013 - I soon learned about melee and emulated it through Dolphin as well as several mods such as 20XX and Silly Melee by Alpharad. I love learning about the long and winding history of competitive smash and I've watched pretty much every tournament stream/highlight reel and/or GRsmash video out there, especially the Fall of Ken and PC Chris/Azen's time to shine.
I am currently using a Xbox 360 for PC controller to play SSBM and Project M on my PC. I own a Wii U but I don't play Sm4sh that often, mostly just at locals around my area (I main Ike with a pocket Link, I daresay a bit better than your normal For Glory Ike). In SSBM I train Marth constantly against my friend on Netplay who's also a huge Melee fan. I beat him recently with a sneaky Dr. Mario pocket, who I love to play. Anyway, enough about me, I'd like to get to know some of you guys.
Who's watching Battle of The Five Gods Top 8 live on stream? It starts at 1am in the morning for me ;(
Who are your favourite SSBM/PM/Smash 4 players? For me:
SSBM: M2K, Azen, Westballz, Armada (all highly technical players, and Westballz is great fun to watch).
PM: Chudat's kirby. If you haven't seen it yet I don't know what to say to you. It's hilarious.
Smash 4: Ryo's Ike obviously, me being an Ike main, but M2k's cloud is pretty good. I don't watch competitive Smash 4 that much though.
Who's your favorite commentator?
Mine's Scar/Toph combo, TKBreezy and Mew2King.
