Smash Wii U GCN port adaptor for Wii dongle controller?

I've been enjoying my Hori pad quite a bit, more so than the standard GCN controller, and the smaller tournaments I am completely confident in using it. However, I'm a little afraid of using it at the bigger ones for that odd interference that could happen, so I was curious if anyone knew if there were adaptors that let you plug Wiimote dongle controllers into the GCN ports? Seems odd I know, but I really like my Hori pad and I know a few people who straight up use the OG Wii Pro controller so it would be hella helpful.

I've tried helping a friend search for the same thing you are asking, but no avail

Yea thats what I'm afraid of. I've been scouring the Internet and I can't find anything. Its a bummer, but I am hopping someone somewhere has seen something of the sort. ;-;
