Ganondorf Semi Freeze glitch

This can't be done vs Human but I found it actually funny. I was on Kongo Jungle 64 playing v.s a Ganondorf lvl 6 ( had nobody to play) I grabbed the ledge and waited there. Ganon came and up-bed my Nana I dropped from the ledge and used popo squall.The Ganon and my Nana just froze there together while up-bed. It was really funny. Obviously when I tried to hit them they got defroze. Did it happened to somebody already?

Were you able to reenact it? Or was it a one time glitch or some error in the AI?

something very similar happened when i was playing against NintendoKing's falcon. we were on final destination and at one point his falcon grabbed my nana. he did a back throw, and right as he did it, my popo was on the other side of the stage doing a squall on the ground.

nana and falcon just froze there, with an epic looking pose of falcon with his foot on nana doing the back throw. they unfroze when i hit falcon.



maybe other characters' throws on nana (like ganon's up-B) can induce unwanted freeze glitches if popo is doing his squall....? it's not a TRUE freeze glitch because you can hit the other dude and they get unfrozen.... but it's still a freeze glitch, and looks awesome.

quick question, when you did all of the solo squalls were they on the same horizontal line as the nana/enemy?

if so that could be something to look at when trying to figure out how this works

I dont know if i Could do it again since i need the invincibility frame as soon as he up-b.

Really? Was your popo doing squall on falcon? Or was he doing it to come back to stage or something like that.

This technique could be very useful at making opponets fear even worse to grab the IC's And if they do and they get freezed you can take the advantage of the freeze to give the maximum damage you can and start some combo. Thats if it doesn't get banned. Il be trying it tonight and see if i can do it again. But with what chok said i should be able to do it again with the grab thing.

So actually as soon as nana is grabbed or grab someone, you squall them and they get frozen? The only exception would be the permanent freeze and the semi freeze.

Nana grabbed him. i was on the other side of the stage. i squalled and the opponent frooze

Anyways, I've tried and this is reproducable (against PCs), but I'm not sure which throws it can be done against, if not all. Both times I've done it it was against a Falcon's b-throw. And yeah it somewhat sucks because it's only a semi-freeze glitch. What I really want to know is if it's possible with other combinations of characters. Does Nana have to be involved, or is it possible, say in doubles, to freeze two players while one of them is grabbed?

Even though its a semi glitch its still good since you can start combo or get an easy 20%+ if you full charge smash them. So it could only work with some type of grab, still need to find if works on every character that do that "type" of throw. There's still lot of thing to do. My friend are comin over to play il give it some shot.

This happened to me once with Ganon Up-B on my nana on YS, I forget excactly what happened though.

It'd be funny as hell if you got this in a tournament match while you were ahead and you let the timer run out.

"HEY, it's not the freeze glitch man, it's legit, *****"
