Ganon L cancel timing?

I've been having a lot of trouble l canceling as ganon. I can get his forward and down air pretty well, but his back up and neutral air seem to be un l-cancelable.

EDIT: I'm dumb and didn't realize that you aren't supposed to finish the animation before you hit the ground.

All timings are within 7ish frames of hitting the ground. No exceptions.

If you're shffling, all of his aerials can autocancel out of shorthop, and nair/uair/bair can autocancel out of shorthop fastfall. The inputs are lightning fast, though. I use z as jump, but it might mess up your Melee play.

I was practicing this pretty recently too. Took me awhile to get a hang on the timing but I got it down pretty well once I figured out the frame time.
