Is there realy a need for All of Gannons moves to have such heavy knockback? if its about any sort of compensationi feel its alitle over the top....... i mean he can practicaly beat over so many people attacks any way why give him so much reward for so little effort!

Haha, harsh. Ganon may have power going from the wazoo but he suffers in other areas. He has garabage movement, his attacks are all slow, he has phoebia of long range zoning and has a easy to gimp recovery.

That said I find it easy to overwhelm new players who don't know the match up with Ganon.

^ that last sentence precisely.

But the beauty of balancing a game with the highest skill in mind, is that in theory one can always overcome something by learning more.

Ganon has pitiful grab range, and range in general compared to other heavy hitters such as Charizard or Ike, both of which possess greater mobility and possibly even speed. If he were problem, you would hear about it in the social thread....

Also... what do you mean by:

"he can practically beat over so many people attacks"

are you talking about priority? Ganon's fair is beastly, but again, against a sword, he is outranged, and against projectiles, he is forced to approach ever so slowly and obviously.

If you wish to complain about a character, I highly recommend talking about the character you use against him/her. Match ups vary so much in smash, so perhaps you are just struggling with your own character's weaknesses.

Windstar, it's the nature of the game that characters with really strong attacks that can cover a lot of space at once will be very good if you aren't playing "tournament level" smash. we see it all the time, either in Zelda or Ike or Ganon or Bowser.

The best advice I can give you, without knowing anything about you or your playstyle, is to Shield More. When Ganon rears up for one of those haymakers, don't try to roll and spotdodge to oblivion but instead make a conscious effort to shield it then counterattack. Ganon is a character who will murder you if you just try to run in like Xerxes into foward tilts.
When he hits your shield, if he's still really close to you, hit "A" to do a shieldgrab. This will punish most poor spacing he uses.

Secondly, and this is just massively important in general, you gotta A) make sure you are sweetspotting the ledge every time you come back to the stage (unless he's ledgehogging you) and B) work on going offstage to kill ganon/ledgehog ganon by using the Roll off the ledge when he's coming back.
A lot of players feel scared to go offstage and fight and that's normal, but its really important to work on getting over that fear. Ganon's easiest weakness to exploit is his recovery, but you still need some bravery and precision to beat it. Practicepracticepractice

Again I have NO idea exactly where you are as a player so just try and be aware of what you're losing to and consciously avoid it as much as you can.

Thank you ill try more Shield grabbing, as for off stage fighting i main Lucas and am confident with my ability to handle him off stage, as for ledgehogging i dont have problems i use my teather grabrecovery as with a prior reverse down-b for turn around

I understand lucas less than I understand college-age women. Basically I just sit there going "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh" while grabbing them repeatedly, and try to avoid getting baited into something I shouldn't.

Nair is a pretty bad Lucas approach imo, you should blow that up
I don't know if you are in agreement with leelue or not but as a Ness player, Lucas's nair approach ****s me all the time.

Wait, are you talking about grabbing Lucas or college-aged women?

NZA, compared to fair as an approach, Lucas's Nair lacks range to protect his hurtbox and is considerably less safe on shield. You should be able to beat out, sheild, or at least win trades against it. That isn't to say it isn't a very useful move, it clearly is. It should just get challenged enough that Lucas players would have to be wary about when they use it to force an opening.

As long as you're spacing fairs right your women matchup should be at least 31:69.

Um... is this a troll thread? I don't think I've ever seen anyone ask how to beat Ganon cus it's pretty straight forward.

But "Gannon" is so good though! He's a crazy meat mountain who crushes bones with many moves doing 16+ damage. There's nothing you can do when he pulls out his trump card: "THE PUNCH".

I have more trouble as Ganon working around Ness's Yoyo than anything Lucas pulls out. I swear to God that thing is bull****.
