- No Sudden Death matches (Winner is decided by less percent/more stocks)

Counterpicks:

- Banning first round will be 1-2-2-1
(1st player bans a stage, 2nd player bans 2 stages, and 1st player bans a stage. Stage that's left is the stage that is played on.)
- Rounds after, winner bans 1 stage and loser picks from any stage left over in the starters and counterpicks lists.
- Gentleman's clause: any stage may be played on so long as both players agree to it.
