If you go to the gamestop website, it has the Wii Zapper available for preorder. You can even put in your zip code and check status of it, and it will say you can pre order in stores. This is not the case.
GameStop is not taking preorders on this, which very well could make it the hard to find item of the holliday season.
Why will this thing sell out? Link's Crossbow Training for 24 dollars. MANY gamers are also collectors, and in their eyes, this is a special edition game. People will claim to be buying it for the zapper or because they think the game will be fun.
But, i assure you, they are buying it for the rare factor. People like us (who want to try it out on MP3 and Chicken Shoot <which I refuse to purchase new and will rent until it is found used>) will be left out in the cold becuase of collectors and ebay re-sellers.
I am planning on going to gamestop before they open that day, but this isnt a launch, it's a release, so it'll show up mid day, most likley. Murphy's law = collectors will get their gun, while only wanting their game.
