Gamecube controller questions

I have some controller questions to ask: (I can manage with both the original port and the USB ones FYI)

1) Have anyone used the PowerA wired GameCube controller and should I consider that?

2) Found this on play-asia website, is this reliable in any way? Or should I stick to other options like the Hori one?

1) that works fine if you want an alternative feel to the original.
2) stick to other options, preferably hori or first party
3) ebay is a great place but other sites like mercari, yahoo auctions, etc. probably have some listings, be sure to check those out as well
