Gamecube controller question.

I've noticed that a good amount of people I see play smash have multi-colored GC controllers. I looked up to see where they could be bought and I couldn't find any of the same colors. Is there somewhere they buy them, or a do they custom make? Someone also told me that they may tinker with the insides of the controller to make it faster response time. I wasn't sure so if someone could clarify that would be great.

Do you mean a different color top and bottom? They just swapped the top/bottom shell with a different controller. It doesn't make their controller respond any faster.

lol no one has a more responsive controller from tinkering with the insides

some ppl take the springs out of the L/R triggers tho

all those fancy color controllers are custom. a lot of them are two different controller halves together, but some ppl paint them too
