GameCube Adapter Discontinued? *RUMOR*

Update: Besides Marth, Wii Fit Trainer & Villager amibos Nintendo has also officially discontinued the Gamecube adapter #Believeit #Nintendo

Remember, this is only a rumor, but if it's true it's a dumb decision.

This simply cannot be true. The demand for the adapters is through the roof, and playing SSB4 with GCN controllers is one of the facts Nintendo has prominently advertised about the game.

That being said, I'm rather frustrated about the whole ordeal and I don't understand why Nintendo hasn't come out and said, "Don't worry, more are on the way, we just seriously underestimated how many people would want these". Unless Nintendo really is so unwise and unfair to discontinue it already?!?
