So...in case you guys didn't know Gamecrazy is also hosting a tournie at 8PM. This should give a lot of people time to get to Gamestop after. I spoke w/ one of the employees and this is what I could tell.
They really don't know what ruleset they want to use. The guy I spoke to said that it would be stock, and if there were a lot of people that it would be a 4 man FFA (double team 4tw); however, I was told that they will not use items. I was also told that I could bring my gamecube controller.
The prize in comparison to Gamestop's is junk, and basically you are just entered into a raffle for a $1000.00 gift card. This raffle is for store winners only. Store winners will also receive a few wiimote sleeves (lawl), maybe they will have some cool tournie thing on them or something...who knows.
Anyways, I guess the overall strat in a 4 man FFA would be to run and let people kill each other. Items not being allows is nice to prevent characters like mario blowing everyone off the screen w/ a final smash.
