Wondering if anyone has had this happen to them. Basically if I am playing a stock game online with a friend sometimes in between matches when I am host, the settings change. I don't even go into the settings menu and weird things happen. Sometimes items get turned back on and sometimes it switches it back to time matches or different stock amounts.

It seems to be not very frequent like 1 out of 250 games but it is really annoying to start a match and have to restart because a smash ball popped up.

Also sometimes when I start as host it won't let me change the settings at all in between games as if the other player became host.

Any thoughts?

Host status is transferred to the loser of any match. When this occurs, whatever settings they may have had activated prior to joining your room may apply. It's not a glitch, rooms just don't function like brawl WiFi where room host is absolute.

Ah this would make sense. I thought if you play with someone though it changes your settings to what the settings were the last game played.

Didn't realize the loser gets to pick the next setting s.

It's inconsistent in doing this. I think it's based on whether or not you've played any offline games prior to going online.
