General FAQ:

Can I sign up for more than one tournament event?
With the amount of people we have and the time constraint, we are limiting participants to only one event. So, if you sign up for the Hearthstone tournament, you can not play in the League, CSGO, or Smash events. (Note: As of 2/29/16, CSGO, Hearthstone and League have reached their cap.)

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There is a cut off at 18 years old. If under the age of 18, please come with a parent or guardian.
Please contact us directly with any concerns.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

You are free to park in the lot around the building. The street fills up fast, but the parking is free on weekends.

What can/can't I bring to the event?
You should bring all the equipment you will use for each respective tournament. We will provide enough TV's for Smash events, but PC Monitors, Desktops, Laptops, Mouses, Controllers, Headphones, etc. are the participant’s responsibility to bring and monitor!
We won't be held responsible for missing equipment unless we find it and are contacted directly regarding lost equipment.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?
Feel free to contact us via...
Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/groups/GRISU/
Twitter: ISU_GR
Email: Ferreter@iastate.edu

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
YES! It's very important that you hold onto the ticket. It is your reserved seat. We can't save your team a spot without one. If you show up without one, your team will have to wait until we can confirm that all pre-registered teams are signed in, then we can proceed to fill as needed until we max out.

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
Bring it! Anything is better than nothing. We can troubleshoot better with a ticket that misprinted then nothing at all.

Will there be food or drink at the event?
No. The space we reserved does not allow outside food in certain sections of the building. We will take adequate breaks during the tournament and there are plenty of restaurants within short driving/walking distance to get to.
If you do bring food, please let us know right away when you arrive and we will direct you to an area you can later use for breaks so the building management doesn't get cranky.
