ABSTRACT

Instead of your classic Action Adventure with the loner Link he would lead a team of heroes (various races and abilities). Like Zelda 2 they would level up and become more powerful but unlike the game be able to be equipped with various weapons and armor. The combat would be live action and have a feel like the classic Zelda games. Also with a team will give new multiplayer and playable characters other then Link. They made Mario into an RPG which was well accepted and Link fits into the RPG world even better.

Read the Link above for more details.

Two problems:

1: You need to copy-paste the whole thing from the original thing in your blog.

2: Zelda's already an RPG....

He probably means turn-based style, such as Link, Zelda, and whomever in a battle party system.

No because he said in his post that he didn't like turn based rpgs. It sounds fire emblem like to me with Zelda combat and a total sand box world..which I don't think is really possible to any further extent than Zelda already is and still have a real story..

Zelda games are consider Action/Adventure games. Some do have some RPG elements but it's not legit. Zelda 2 had the most RPG style and that still was still catagorized as an action/adventure game.

The combat system I design from was both Zelda 2 and Tales games (e.g. Tales of Symphonia). When you come in contact with an enemy your sent to an arena-like area. Because side scrolling wouldn't work with multi players I was thinking 3D world (OOT/TP) or top screen (like hand helds).

RPG elements that would be added would be

-Points and Leveling (similar to Zelda 2)

-customize weapons and gear

-And most importantly TEAM PLAY!
