Game Geeks Weekly Smashfests - IOWA CITY, IA

Starting January 10th, 2014 at 7 PM: Game Geeks in downtown Iowa City will be hosting weekly Smashfests. The events are as of now DONATION ONLY and will include pizza, friends, and all the smash you can handle! We're a small niche game shop that can't be seen from the street so we can get hype and have fun all night. If anyone from the Iowa area is interested in getting more involved or has any suggestions they'd like to see implemented PLEASE let us know. We are very interested in finding midwest smashers and working with them to create events the community is interested in. Spread the word, we're hoping to run Smash events every Friday in 2014! We are also running Melee Singles Tournaments every third Friday in 2014. Check the tournament listings for info.

Any one in Iowa interested in coming to or helping to organize these? We're trying to guage interest in the area. We have a dedicated group of players but we're really looking to branch out of our local social circle.
