Smash Wii U Game Disc error Analysis, Customs are CRASHING THE GAME! (post past 1.0.8)

Hi guys, Jazz here. So very few smashes out there have had an anomalous error code to either their disc or downloaded copy of smash. Not because of a faulty disc, but because the wii u is bugging out over certain data packs. Unfortunately I have been a victim of this for ages now. For a while I had the answer to the error. I KNEW WHAT TRIGGERED IT. I prevented it successfully and had a nearly playable full game. Nearly.
Until Patch 1.0.8
You see they fixed the previous boo boo. certain stage songs were corrupted somehow and when played were causing the crash.

But the Plague has only moved its cancerous tendrils to another facet of the game, one I find you wont appreciate at all.
RECEIVING CUSTOM MOVES AND UNLOCKING STAGES
this is a tested fact, that sufferers of the glitch error will now see that if they play a game mode where you earn ANY custom piece, your game will crash (game disc read error). Shocking right? Now to specify this is only when you EARN OR RECEIVE equipment. you can still goof around with what you already have.

go ahead and read what I found.

So I'm curious, do you get these errors? Am I the only one who didnt follow nintendos initial advice and wipe the smash data clean only to brick my system? Is anyone else playing only 50% of their game?

Just played classic 3 times in a row, no crash. I earned ~7 custom moves. What are you working with? (What type of Wii U, when you bought the Wii U, when you bought Sm4sh, and what format you have it on.)

after much research and MANY people analyzing my game it appears my wii u had peeled of a pin head sized section of the top data layer of my disc. my previous error were due to currupt update data, this i assume is because of the wii u for some reason poking a small whole in the disks fragile top layer. it may have been because for a time my wii u was vertical, either way im either buying a new disc or downloading the game. it could also be that my save data is corrupted. either way its a crappy situation. im going to take some canned air to my wii u's disc drive as well as try and find a way to buff the security of my next disc.

though Im not sure this will fit in the drive of the wii u.. any thoughts on this technique actually working?
