Game Cube Controller Mod question

Do PS4 thumbsticks fit in the gamecube thumbstick slot? And also, how would I add LEDs to my controller? I have a modded PS3 Controller I no longer use and could add the thumbsticks with LEDs to my GC controller, I just have no clue how to do it, any videos/help?
