I started playing this game a few months ago, lost a load of battles, stopped playing and started again. well, here's my first full team (that doesn't get owned too badly)

MonstaMash/Metagross@Light clay
Ability: Clear body
Brave nature (+Atk, - Spd)
252 atk/252 def/6 hp
- Meteor Mash
- Bullet punch
- Reflect
- Stealth Rock

This is the wierdest pokemon I have on my team. The fact that it pressures opponents' leads means they will be looking for a switch (unless infernape), giving me a chance to set up rocks if they go for the switch or Reflect of they decide to boost attack.

Will take a hit from any physical or special non-fire pokemon. Meteor Mash+bullet punch to dispose of special leads like Porygon Z and Azelf. Also to damage Gengar. Tauntidos just gives me an opportunity to switch into something else. Also a Porygon Z Boltbaiter for...

LostAtSea?/Electivire@Leichi Berry
Ability: Motor drive
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SpAtk)
252 atk/252 spd/6 hp
- Substitute
-Cross Chop
- Ice Punch
- ThunderPunch

This Vire is awesome really and can sweep whole nations once it gets it's groove on. Sub is to keep safe and to activate the berry.

ChompStmpr/Flygon@Salac Berry
Ability: Levitate
Adamant nature (+Atk, -Spatk)
252 atk/252 spd/6hp
- Dragon claw
- Flail
- Earthquake
- Endure

I love Flygon. Just when chompy thinks he's gonna outspeed ya, you take the hit and finish him off. Well most of the time anyway as some chomps can take the hit, sadly. Also good against Weavile and Starmie, other sweepers with Ice attacks and low defence.

Whoppa!/Snorlax@Chesto Berry
Ability: Thick Fat
Brave nature (+ Atk, -Spd)
252 HP/100Sp def/64 atk/64 def/24 spatk
- Return
- Fire blast
- Curse
- Rest

Because I hate Skarm. Metagross passing a Reflect to Snorlax gives it temporary God-like staying ability and is able to curse it's way to the top. Any skarm trying to phaze me away will be in for a surprise.

Bubblebath/Vaporeon@Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
Modest nature: (+Spatk, -Atk)
252 hp/124 spatk/64 def/64 spdef
- Toxic
- Surf
- Roar
- Wish

Boltbaiter #1 Can switch into Gyarados leads if Metagross falls for a taunt and poison/Roar away the Dance. Also good when gross sets up stealth rocks or reflect. The main source of HP restoration on my team can keep you guessing as to whether or not I'll switch out after a wish or just rawr you away.

Lumalover=)/Starmie@Focus Sash
Ability: Natural cure
Modest nature (+Spatk, -Atk)
252 spatk/252 spd
- Thunderbolt
- Ice beam
- Hydro Pump
- Grass knot

Nothing to see here. Boltbaiter #2 I guess, but it won't take as many hits

-----------------------------------------------------

Subs

Leafeon@Leftovers
Ability: Leaf guard
Jolly nature (+Spd, -Spatk)
252 def/64 def/64 hp/124 spd
- Leaf Blade
- Baton pass
- Swords dance
- Grasswhistle

Happy-go-lucky sleep inducing leafeon who can pass to Flygon when he needs that extra boost to kill a chomp. or pass to any other pokemon when they need it. Can take as many hits as Metagross and take his slot, though doesn't really help the team defensively as much.

Dragonite@Leftovers/Choice Sash
Ability: Inner focus
Adamant nature (+atk, -spatk)
252 atk/126 hp/126 spd
- Dragon Dance
- Outrage
- Earthquake/Fire punch
- Thunderpunch

Not sure about this moveset. It can take Flygon's place when I don't feel like setting up the Salac/Falil. Dunno... I just wanted a Dragonite for some reason. Don't really like Mence that much either, but am considering getting one.

So, what do you guys think I should change up?

Its really up to you, but metagross has better things to be doing than stealth rocking and reflecting.

Fine.

Interesting. Unexpected, and immune to sandstorm is a plus.

Bad. Essentially, you're only cursing for return. With this set, you might as well just throw earthquake over curse.

Okay. Type coverage isn't great, though.

Focus sash is uneccesary. Starmie is fairly bulky already, go with expert belt.

None of your pokemon excel especially at taking hits. If you really want to set up rocks and reflect, go with Bronzong over metagross. Doesn't hit as hard, but is much better for walling.

Yeah, the fact that most of them can't really take physical hits is the reason I put reflect on metagross. I don't really like Bronzong because it lacks the pressure power Metagross has. I may get one as part of a trick room too. If I put EQ on Snorlax, it'd get walled by Skarm and Bronzong, but it'd be able to handle rock types that don't levitate. All of my other pokemon can handle T-tar in some way, so I'm not sure about changing the moveset.

Intresting Flygon set: only problem is that it gets more walled by Skarmory than a Regular curselax. Why not use Body Slam > Return on Snorlax and hope for some lucky paralysis on Skarmory. It will also help with team support and can help in other cases. The main problem with it this generation, though, is the fact that DP OU hits harder with special attacks than RSEFRLG ubers, and as such doesn't have an "invincible" feel after two curses. Specsmence does 40% when your running max special defense, and you don't have any.

Doesn't the regular Curselax have Crunch/EQ? Skarm would just be able to phaze it's curses away. Fire blast does more than 50% to most skarms, so I think it should at least leave a dent in them.

I dunno, I just don't like the idea of setting him up then getting roared/ww on without making a mark
