Smash 3DS Friendly Fire/Team Attack

So this is driving me nuts. I can't find the option for team attack anywhere. Do I need to unlock it first or is it just not in the game?

This is ridiculous. No one can confirm whether or not team attack is in the game? I've gone up and down the menu and can't find anything. This game really doesn't allow team attack? Really?

Not that anyone seems to have shown, no, it does not. But we've already gotten one patch adding a new "mode" to the game, maybe they'll add Friendly Fire later.

I just found out myself about an hour ago, but if you unlock additional options, you can turn team attack on.
I unlocked the additional options by playing 99 stock with 300% a couple of times.
