You need to MOVE.
Incredibly new to Smashboards, although I've been lurking the boards for a very long time now. I finally had the courage to create an account!
I've played all iterations of Smash, though I think it's safe to say that Melee was my first true experience with the series. I vaguely remember Melee's release, and I was too young to remember the release of Smash 64, which my older sister taught me how to play a few years later.
I've always played Smash simply for leisure, and alone, since I don't have many friends who play the game (or games in general). During the time when Brawl was still a big thing, I had horrible internet so unfortunately online play was out of the question for me, meaning I was stuck playing with CPUs (how boring). So, I don't play competitively (although some friends have suggested me to do so), just because I believe my level of skill (or lack thereof, rather) won't exactly get me anywhere in a tournament, small or big. Of course, I acknowledge that I will only improve through experience, but the thought of getting absolutely bodied within half a minute doesn't sound like a fun experience.
So, I'm aiming to improve my skills first. I guess I could say that's part of why I'm here, but I'm also here to hang around and chat with fellow Smash fans.
As far as mains go, I obviously don't have a proper main for the competitive scene. However, if we're talking about which characters I use the most in casual play, I suppose Sheik fits that role. It feels nice playing her, even from a non-competitive standpoint. I do have interest in learning more of the cast of Smash 4 though, just for fun! Some characters' movesets do intrigue me quite a bit.
And that's probably all I can say right now. Whew, I said a lot here!
Nice to meet you all!
