I don't believe in morals. They're entirely subjective. What I think is okay you can believe to be an affront against god. And you know what? None of that matters, because you can't definitively decide which is true. Sure laws exist, but they only go so far. Laws are now beginning to bridge into our thoughts, which is a terrifying concept. Freedom of speech is seriously being cut-down, to please all the politically-correct sleazebags out there. Political correctness is a problem, everyone needs to chill out and stop taking everything and themselves so seriously. Let the man on the corner yell racial slurs at passers-by. Why should they care? He's just some lunatic; it'd make me feel better about myself to be perfectly honest.

I'm feeling a revolution in the western world. We haven't had one for a while. We need a shift in ideals. As much as the UN wants to try to bring the world together, it just won't work. The world is extremely secular and until everyone gives up religion and ethnicity "one world" will never work.

I've listened to she's only 18 by the red hot chili peppers at least 25 times in a row and I really needed this vent.

I won't be falling asleep at all tonight.

Morals are what society deems them to be, or what you yourself view to be 'moral'. It's something you just have to get used to, I myself find most to be very contrived but **** isn't going to change. That being said, I pretty much agree with you.

I'm not naive enough to think that my dissatisfaction will change anything, but everything has to change at some point; nothing is forever.

I was sooo ****ed last night haha. Was I ever in a funk, ah well, it was good to get that off my chest at any rate.

Knock the world straight off its feet and straight on to its head, was the line that was striking a chord with me then haha.

Great song for sure.

So how did you definitively decide that you can't defintively decide what is true?

No one intelligent thinks that morality is just about what society deems it to be. There is much more evidence for objective morality than just 'my society says so' or 'I believe X'.

Besides, western society has no moral integrity anymore, it has completely forgotten what the point of morality was about in the first place.

Dre, are you trying to say society at one point did know what morality was?

Dre you're borderline trolling me by saying 'no one intelligent' thinks that. Especially after I also ****ing mentioned that they're what YOU YOURSELF deem them to be. There are no 'universal truths' to what is right and wrong, stop acting like what we believe in is so special.

Some moral objectivity naturally exists in order for a species to thrive; however, past that, I see it as primarily up to the individual. I'm not fond of it myself.

Thats all good and well, but at the end of the day society makes these laws based on morals, and you have no choice but to accept. The only other alternative is to create yuor own society where you can do whatever you want. Good luck surviving without any help from farmers, schools, roads, clothing companies and everything else that society comes with.
