Free for All Pika

It may just be me, but when I play with my friends 1v1, I have a much better chance at winning than in FFA, where I usually lose. I'm not sure whether it's because I don't care as much about FFA battles, or because my Pika playstyle sucks in FFA. Any comments?

ffa = spam you strongest moves
Pikachu is actually a pretty nice FFA character, because of dsmash, fsmash, thunder and his recovery

also use skull bash (the attack where he charges up and shoots horizontally) very powerful when fully charged

I have also had trouble using Pikachu in FFA. He's one of the lightest characters and gets knocked around pretty easily. What I do is try to stay away from the center of the battle and attack people when they are distracted fighting someone else.

Although he can be knocked away easily, he can do some pretty serious knockback himself.

Welcome to smashboards Shark! Glad to see another Pika mainer on here. We need more, the pika board isn't nearly as active as most other character's.

Yah, I recently started winning a lot more in my every day FFA matches. I think it's because I've started using more fair to dsmash combo, and skullbash for recovery occasionally.
